You won't hear screaming girls(boys? :p) in here.
Just in case you’ve been living in a cave or under a rock these past few days you must have heard the rumours about the new iPhone hardware. But the rumours quickly had proofs, a picture on TwitPic then a realization from Engadget staff. Then along came a more clear set of pictures, these set of photos were at first dismissed as a Knockoff… But GIZMODO had acquired the device.
The device was encased in a modified rubber case to make it look like anyother iPhone 3GS. Gizmodo acquired it for $5000 from the one who found it. Then the famewhoring started, the have been posting How Apple lost the device, how they made Apple admit the truth aboutthe device — to be honest, I’m not even gonna go into it more as it has been talked about way too much! Yeah, I know, it’s Apple, but come on Gizmodo… Haven’t you heard about the moderation? Even some of their readers are fed up with it, they’ve turned this into a feature film! I think they really want to be in the history books, “The Site that foiled Apple’s secret plan…”, ugh. So what if they got hold of the lost iPhone? It doesn’t mean they’ll get hold of the future hardware Apple will be releasing or testing. Either way, Apple has still won, they learn a lesson from this feature film you’ve made and you’ll totally be on their blacklist.
In my opinion, this hasn’t tarnished Apple’s image, why would it… They still have more tricks up their sleeves…. “BOOM!”
Gizmodo, the Famewhore of 2010… You’ve beaten Miss Lohan to it.
